The Jordan Cove Energy Project is a proposal by Calgary-based energy company Veresen[1] to build a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal at the International Port of Coos Bay, Oregon. The natural gas would be transported to the terminal by the 230-mile Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline, connecting the LNG export terminal with natural gas supplies from Canada and the Rockies.

Allies:  Sierra Club, Rogue Riverkeeper, Friends of Living Oregon Waters, Citizens Against LNG and Landowners United.

Corporate Interest: Jordan Cove LNG is owned by Veresen and the Pacific Connector Gas Pipeline is equally owned by Veresen and a subsidiary of The Williams Companies, Inc.
